We strip, excavate, and grade the area with our own skid steers, then compact the subbase and set base rock. On shifting clay soil, the groundwork is what separates a slab that lasts 30 years from one that cracks in five.
Forms are set to exact grade and elevation, then rebar or wire mesh is tied and chaired off the base. Concrete goes down, gets screeded, floated, and finished by our crew — broom, smooth, or troweled, your call.

Most slabs, drives, and sidewalks are formed and poured in 1-3 days once the dirt work is done. A large parking lot or building pad adds a few days up front depending on the grading and how the pour is phased. We'll walk you through the full timeline before anything starts.
You can typically walk on it after about 24 hours. For vehicles, we recommend waiting a full 7 days so the slab reaches enough strength to handle the weight without damage.
Both — that's the whole point of the name. We run our own skid steers and excavators for grading, drainage, and pad building, then form and pour the concrete with the same crew. You're not chasing two contractors and hoping the dirt work was done right.
All concrete can develop hairline cracks over time, especially on shifting clay soil. A properly compacted base, tied steel, and control joints cut at the right depth and spacing keep them to a minimum and put them where you won't notice. That's why we don't cut corners on the base.
